Recreational opportunities

Vast recreational opportunities during summer and winter are a primary attraction for many residents and visitors. In particular, easy access to outdoor activities such as hunting, sport fishing, hiking, camping, cross-country and downhill skiing, snow machining, boating and even a simple drive in the country allow residents to enjoy the area's natural beauty. An extensive system of bicycle, ski, running, hiking and dog mushing trails is available for public use.
