Recreational opportunities abound

Vast recreational opportunities during summer and winter are a primary attraction for many residents and visitors. In particular, easy access to outdoor activities such as hunting, sport fishing, hiking, camping, cross-country and downhill skiing, snow machining, boating and even a simple drive in the country allow residents to enjoy the area's natural beauty. An extensive system of bicycle, mountain bike, ski, running, hiking and dog mushing trails is available for public use.
